Buying guide by budget
What you can find under €20, between €20 and €80, and above: pointers for every budget.
The Lapis temple sorts its items into three budget levels, from modest to precious. Prices are recorded on a given date and change often: only the seller’s page is authoritative.
Under €20
- Cards, posters and small thangka reproductions.
- Paperbacks and sūtra texts.
- Simple malas and bracelets.
- Incense and small altar accessories.
€20 to €80
- Resin or brass statues of 10–25 cm.
- Thangkas printed on canvas, illustrated books.
- 108-bead lapis lazuli malas.
Above €80
- Hand-cast copper statues from Patan, gilded.
- Hand-painted thangkas with 24-carat gold.
- Antique or large pieces.
Tip
For a first purchase, a card or a small statue is enough. Handmade pieces are worth their price when the listing is detailed: material, size, workshop.
